Recognizing that God has blessed us to be a blessing, the Pisgah United Methodist Food Pantry serves as a means for us to share the overwhelming abundance God has showered us with. Pisgah’s food bank helps provide food, free of charge, to families in need within our area. It is our intention that they receive not only food for their physical hunger, but generous portions of kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional hungers.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” Matthew 25:35

Pisgah's Food Bank is open every other Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Each time we assist approximately 20 families with their food needs.
  • Donate : Each week there is a list of items that are needed for the food bank listed in the bulletin. There is a collection container in the vestibule. Monetary donations are also welcome, just write "Food Bank" in the memo section of your check and place it in the offering plate.
  • Volunteer : Sign up to help distribute food or to help organize and prepare ahead of time. See the coordinator for more information.

Each Thanksgiving, Pisgah supplies Thanksgiving meals for approximately 35 families through our Food Bank. Each family is given a turkey and all the fixings.
